This service was created as a hobby project. No tracking is performed, and only essential data is stored.

This project is strictly non-commercial. There are no advertisements, no tracking mechanisms, and no third-party cookies or scripts — and there never will be. If any sponsorship or collaboration is ever introduced, it will be limited to clearly disclosed recommendations of privacy-respecting services that fully align with this project’s values. These will never involve tracking, behavioral profiling, or the use of external scripts or resources.

The site does not store any tracking cookies, uses IP addresses only when required, and does not request any personal information. The only cookies used are session cookies, which are temporary and contain no tracking data.

This service is intended, for example, for journalists to set up a secure dropbox where potential informants can send information anonymously and safely. Messages are encrypted on the sender’s device with the recipient’s public key before ever reaching the service, ensuring true end-to-end encryption. Only the recipient, with the matching private key, can decrypt the message.

Securemessages.app is a privacy-first platform for safe, anonymous communication — ideal for whistleblowers, journalists, and anyone valuing confidentiality.
